The fifth KiaGO Truck Rally: Mangystau
The fifth motor rally in the KiaGO: Discovering Kazakhstan series took place from 10th to 14th of May. A group of bloggers and journalists rediscovered the stunning beauty and sights of the Mangystau Region by traveling the arduous route in Kia vehicles.
Mangistau Region is one of the most picturesque regions of Kazakhstan. The natural wonders of Mangistau will amaze even the most demanding travelers with its extreme beauty. Mount Bokty, Bozzhyra tract, Karagiye Depression, Sherkala Mountain, Airakty castle valley, Torysh valley, Shakpak-Ata cave mosque, Kapamsay canyon... All these unforgettable places the KiaGO participants visited during three days, having driven about 1200 kilometers.
The purpose of the rally, which was organized by Allur Motor Qazaqstan, the official distributor of Kia in Kazakhstan, was to develop automobile tourism in the Republic, popularize tourist places and improve the culture of domestic tourism. So that more and more people in Kazakhstan will be able to look at the unique beauty of their country from different points of view, and not forget to preserve nature.
Starting and finishing in Aktau, the route rally included a variety of road surfaces, from good to broken asphalt and dirt road, to allow participants to fully experience Kia vehicles, getting a feel for the character of each model. The seven-car convoy included the renewed Soul compact crossover, Sportage and Sorento crossovers, as well as the Carnival crossover van, once again proving that for car touring in Kazakhstan it is not necessary to have an SUV. A surprise for the participants was the new electric crossover Kia EV6.
The organizers of the rally say that such trips help you make discoveries, have breakthroughs and simply enjoy nature, relaxing from the bustle of the city. This is the movement that inspires.
